Main Stage Entertainment Policy
The Main Stage of the Pride Celebration shall seek to engage the audience with the highest standard of care for, and inclusion of, the members of the SF Pride community; and in particular as an opportunity to support, resource, entertain, and advocate for and with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color community members of SF Pride.
Entertainment on the Main Stage shall be predominantly, but not exclusively, of a musical variety and shall reflect the expectations and tastes of the audienceinterests and feedback of the members of the broad LGBTQI+ communities of SF Pride, with a particular focus on diverse representation that educates the World, commemorates our heritage, celebrates our culture, and, liberates our people.
Above all, entertainment from the Main Stage must seek to engage a broad audience and in the case of specific genres of musical style, shall be from artistsrepresent artists and entertainment whose work most closely aligns with the mission of SF Pride; and especially those artists and entertainment who uplift the voice and representation of hyper-marginalizedLGBTQI+ communities within SF Pride, such as ourespecially Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities.
All performers artists and entertainment shall align with and support the mission and broader values of SF Pride, its members, and the greater LGBTQI+ communities of San Francisco.
