Event Conduct Policy

Introduction
San Francisco Pride is a world class event and relies upon those entrusted with its production to adhere to the highest professional standards. It is of paramount importance that San Francisco Pride, the SF Pride Board, its agents, and subcontractors behave in a way that is commensurate with those standards. For the purposes of this policy the term “staff” shall mean all persons employed and/or retained by SFLGBTPCCSF Pride to work on the event whether as volunteers, compensated staff or otherwise.

Specific Standards of Behavior
While performing their duties —, contractors, Board, and staff:
- shall not do so under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, mind- altering substances or other intoxicants (including medicinal marijuana)
- shall behave in a courteous manner to fellow staff and members of the public
- shall observe all rules, regulations, and policies of SFLGBTPCCSF Pride.

Sanctions
If a member of staffany staff, contractors, Board members, or other designated representatives fails to observe abide by this policy, s/hethey shall be subject to immediate removal from the event and/or depending upon on the severity of the transgression impact to the health, wellness and/or vitality of any part of, the organization and/or the event, without prejudice to further sanctions and action post-event.
